Welcome to Maungatautari School
Maungatautari School offers a unique learning environment.
With small class sizes our students receive higher levels of
one-on-one teaching time allowing their progress to be closely
monitored. Teachers and children collaborate to establish
learning goals, identify success criteria and to assess a
chievement against that criteria.
As a school we are at the forefront of technology, with a modern
computer suite and interactive whiteboards in each classroom.
Maungatautari School is involved in the rural schools' cluster
initiative 'Enhancing Higher Standards in Achieving Schools'.
This programme supports initiatives taken by successful schools
to further enhance learning.
We are proud to be at the forefront of educational achievement in New Zealand. Our academic results demonstrate our children are achieving at the top end of national averages.
