The culture.
Maungatautari School has a proud heritage of working with learners in the district since 1903.
In a small school like ours, children benefit from
the many leadership opportunities they have
with their peers.
Children learn to get on
with others and develop
sound social skills. At
Maungatautari School we are
proud of the strong, confident
children with excellent skills
that emerge from their time here.
The People.
Maungatautari School fosters an environment where we all look out for each other. Whole school activities actively promote children working together. While we have two classrooms, we have four highly skilled teachers backed up by great support staff.
The school runs programmes to help parents support their
children’s learning. We acknowledge the importance of all
of us working together to help children get the most out of
their time at school.
A dedicated Board of Trustees ensures the school reflects the
community. All parents are welcome at BOT meetings.
All these groups and individuals are focused on providing a quality learning environment for the children.
